I Thought I Needed More—Until I Realized I Had Enough
For a long time, I believed that abundance was something far away. Something reserved for “lucky people.” I’d see others thriving and wonder, Why not me? Why does it feel like I’m always catching up? Bills, stress, comparison—it was draining my energy, and I didn't even realize it.
Then I came across something beautifully simple: an Abundance Jar Spell. It wasn't flashy. There were no long rituals or complicated tools. Just a jar, some herbs, a few coins, and a shift in perspective.
I hesitated at first. Could something so small really make a difference? But I was tired of feeling lack. I wanted to feel full. So, I built the jar. And what happened next was more than financial change—it was an energetic reset I didn’t know I needed.

What Is an Abundance Jar?
A Physical Container for Spiritual Expansion
An abundance jar is a form of sympathetic magic—a way of using physical items to represent and attract energetic frequencies. The jar becomes a symbolic home for prosperity, gratitude, luck, and new opportunities.
It’s not just about money (though it can help with that too). It’s about abundance in all forms: love, joy, creativity, peace, purpose. It invites you to focus on what you already have, so you can magnetize even more.
This jar spell works by combining specific elements, each one chosen for its energetic properties. And when you combine them with intention, that’s where the magic happens.
What to Put in Your Abundance Jar (And Why)
The Ingredients of Energy, Wealth, and Gratitude
Let me walk you through the exact items I used—and what each one represents.
Three Coins – Money, Manifestation, and Harmony
Three is a sacred number: balance, alignment, and creation. The coins represent financial abundance and the flow of wealth. I chose coins from my own wallet—charged with real energy from real life.
Why three? Because 3 is the number of harmony, flow, and divine magic.
Mint – Prosperity and Fresh Energy
I added a few fresh mint leaves to represent growth and fresh starts. Mint has long been used in prosperity spells—it invites wealth and positive energy, especially when paired with money or green stones.
Pyrite – Good Fortune & Magnetic Prosperity
Pyrite, also known as Fool’s Gold, is a powerful stone for manifestation, confidence, and attracting wealth. I placed a small pyrite nugget in my jar to act as a radiant core, reflecting light and opportunity back to me.
Basil – Good Luck and Blessings
Basil has ancient associations with luck, protection, and abundance. I gently crushed a dried basil leaf in my hand and whispered a wish before adding it to the jar. That act alone felt sacred.
Aventurine – New Opportunities and Expansion
Aventurine is one of my favorite stones for career magic, new projects, and creative flow. Green aventurine in particular resonates with the heart chakra, aligning your energy with possibility and hope.
Cinnamon – Success and Quick Manifestation
Cinnamon brings heat and speed. I added a small stick to activate the spell with boldness and fast-moving energy. Cinnamon is the spark—it says, "Let’s go!"
How I Created My Abundance Jar
A Simple, Grounded Ritual
I started by choosing a clear glass jar—something small but beautiful. I cleaned it, saged it, and held it in my hands while focusing on one question:
What does abundance feel like to me?
Then I layered each ingredient with intention, pausing to thank each item for its energy:
- I placed the coins at the bottom.
- Next, the herbs: mint, basil, and cinnamon.
- Then came the crystals: pyrite and aventurine.
- Finally, I sealed the jar with a green ribbon and a whispered affirmation:
“I am full. I am safe. I am supported. Abundance flows to me and through me.”
The Real Magic? Gratitude.
What Shifted After I Made the Jar
The first thing I noticed was internal: my focus changed. Instead of worrying about what was missing, I started noticing what was already abundant—love, ideas, nature, kindness.
Within a week, I received:
- A random refund check
- A job opportunity I hadn’t expected
- Three messages from people offering support, connection, or collaboration
Coincidence? Maybe. Magic? Definitely.
Because energy flows where attention goes—and this jar reminded me to pay attention to blessings already blooming.
You Deserve to Feel Full
This Abundance Jar is more than a spell—it’s a mirror. It reflects the wealth of your life right now, and calls in more of what your soul is ready to receive.
You don’t need to wait for “the right moment.” You don’t need fancy tools or rare crystals. You just need a jar, a few intentions, and a willingness to believe in your own enough-ness.
So tell me:
If you built an abundance jar today, what’s the very first thing you’d put inside?
